剧情：
查理（戴米恩·路易斯 Damian Lewis 饰）曾经是一名警察，如今却因为一件他没有犯过的谋杀案而沦为了阶下囚，等待着他的，是长达十二年的痛苦刑期。因为查理身份特殊，在狱中，他没少吃苦头。一眨眼两年过去，康斯坦斯（布鲁克·朗顿 Brooke Langton 饰）利用新的DNA证据还了查理一个清白之身，查理不仅恢复了职位，获得了赔偿，还将警察局告上了法庭。 尽管生活回到了从前的样子，但查理却再也回不去了，在他的眼中，世界俨然变换了模样。不再亲密的家人，不再友好的上司和同事，就连他的搭档丹尼（萨拉·沙希 Sarah Shahi 饰）也对查理充满了不信任，在这样的情况下，“重获新生”后的查理会怎样自处呢？
